RMGA CERTIFICATION PROGRAM
RMGA Certification program is based on general knowledge of Colorado, including
history, geography, demographics, economics, and places of interest throughout the
state. Most emphasis is on Denver and the Front Range area.
Candidates are given a study guide which covers all topics that will be included on the test. They are also given education material and web sites for references.
The program is offered once a year. Typically, study groups are formed in January or February and the test is given in April or May. Members of the Certification Committee facilitate study sessions and offer support.
The cost covers all materials, a certificate, and a new name badge.
Certification must be renewed every three years by submitting continuing education units or by taking the current test.
