Founded in 1970, Historic Denver, Inc. is the organization for those who love our city.  Historic Denver created the Walking Tours to inspire new audiences to love the places that make our city unique.  All of our walking tours are led by a corps of passionate and highly-trained volunteer docents who will tell stories of the designated tour area. 

We currently offer three Walking Tours, in May through October.  In our original Walking Tour of  LoDo, docents will tell the story of Denver's founding, the arrival and impact of the railroad, the way buildings grew up around Union Station, and the transformation of the neighborhood  - now a national model for how to balance preservation and development.  This tour starts and ends at Denver's Union Station, so guests can enjoy the newly restored and highly popular Union Station, before or after the tour.

In our tour of Capitol Hill, you will view mansions designed in a wonderful mix of architectural styles by some of Colorado's most prominent architects, as well as learn of some of Capitol Hill's most unique and famous residents, including Senators, heiresses, captains of industry and 
more!  On this tour we begin and end at the historic Molly Brown House Museum, and while the walking tour does not include a tour of the museum, you are welcome to attend one of the house tours, running every half-hour. 

The Larimer Square Walking Tour will explore Larimer Square "Then & Now."  Tour guests will walk along Larimer Street, viewing the buildings along Denver's first Historic District as well as have exclusive access to the Daniels & Fisher Tower!  This tour begins in Larimer Square which 
provides an array of unique dining experiences.  The tour ends at the D & F Tower right along 16th Street Mall, providing a variety of dining and shopping options.

Join Historic Denver on a walk around Denver's iconic neighborhoods!  Tours run May through October every year.

Motor Coach Parking:  No.  Parking is to the discretion of each group or individual to pay for and find.                         

Is your facility ADA complaint?  NA.  Walking Tours are all accessible, mostly even sidewalks.  But they are not necessarily ADA compliant.

Group Rates:  Yes.  $12/person for groups of 8 or more.
