Itinerary:

Thursday May 9, 2013
7:30 AM – Arrive in Golden to park, check in and board motor coach.
8:00 AM – Depart by motor coach from Golden. Commentary by Larry Ralston and other guides along the way.
11:00 AM – Visit Colorado Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame in Vail. Lunch provided.
3 to 4 PM - Arrive Grand Junction.

Check into included shared double rooms at your assigned hotel downtown on Historic Main Street, Grand Junction. You will be accommodated in one of these hotels:
1) Springhill Suites by Marriott
2) Fairfield Inn
3) Hawthorn Suites

4:30 - 6 PM
Meet and Greet at Grand Junction Visitors and Convention Bureau (motor coach will pick you up at your hotel and take you there).
6:30 PM - Arrive back at downtown hotel
7 PM. Walk to included Group Dinner at The Rockslide Brew Pub, 401 North Main Street (wine, beer or alcoholic beverages on your own).

DAY TWO: FRIDAY May 10, 2013
7 AM - 8 AM. Continental breakfast at your hotel.
8:30 AM. Motor coach picks up RMGA group at downtown hotels. Wear sturdy hiking boots or hiking shoes. Bring plenty of water.
8:45 AM. Half-day tour of Colorado National Monument. Stops at Cold Shivers, Ute Canyon, Red Canyon, and Independence Rock on the way to the Visitors Center.
10:00 AM. Arrive Colorado National Monument Visitors Center.
10:15 AM. Meet and Greet by Colorado National Monument Superintendent Michelle Wheatley and Lisa Eckert at Visitors Center.
11 AM. Colorado National Monument Film. Explore the Visitors Center.
11:45 AM. Drive on Rim Rock Drive out the west entrance to the Two Rivers Winery and Chateau.
12:30 PM. Included lunch and Wine Tasting at Two Rivers Winery and Chateau. Two Rivers offers wines of the noble varieties, which can be tasted and purchased in the intimate setting of the tasting room. Enjoy an enlightening tour of the facility or pause to take in the glorious views. Sample Two Rivers Winery award-winning wines.
2:00 PM. Drive to Palisade, Colorado for Vineyards/Orchards tour. Stop at High Country Orchards, and drive through downtown Palisade past the Peach Street Distillers (2012 Distiller of the Year), featuring bourbon, vodka, gin, brandy, grappa. Finally, tour Grande River Vineyards.
5:30 PM. Return to your hotel.
6:00-6:15 PM. Walk to dinner through Historic Downtown Grand Junction.
6:30 PM. Dinner on your own at Il Bistro Restaurant, 400 Main Street, Grand Junction.
8:30PM. - Walk back through historic downtown Grand Junction to your hotel.

DAY THREE: SATURDAY, MAY 11, 2013
7 AM. to 8 AM. Continental Breakfast at Downtown Grand Junction Hotels.
8:30 AM. Historic Downtown Grand Junction Walk and Talk led by Zeb Miracle of the Colorado Museum of the West.
10:30 AM. Group returns to hotel for check out. Then departs via motor coach for on-site tours of Doubletree Hotel. Grande Vista and Courtyard by Marriott.
11:30 AM. Departure for Denver with a stop at Glenwood Springs Adventure Park on the return trip. Lunch provided.
