PROGRAM:  The Holiday Event is a casual get-together.  Sherry Moon has worked up some terrific Colorado trivia.  Study the Colorado trivia so your team will be the grand winners of an exciting game of Jeopardy – like fun facts - all about Colorado.

Membership Program December 10, 2018 

We met at The Clubhouse at Riverwalk, is at 27521 West Riverwalk Circle, Littleton, CO 80123.  Program Chair, Dawn Nelson, is a resident of this complex.  This program was very casual and festive. 

Twenty-eight people attended and everyone brought something to share for appetizers/dinner/dessert.  Barbara and Larry Foos provided holiday non-alcoholic punch.  There was plenty of food – everyone’s contribution was great.

Adrian Swenson reminded us all to contribute to “Toys for Tots” before December 20th. 

Mike Pearl announced the program and Sherry Moon explained the rules and how the results would be scored.  We counted off into three teams so that each team was evenly matched.  Sherry Moon spent hours and hours preparing for this event.  Colorado Trivia was the name of the game.  In the end, Team 2 was the grand winner with more than 6,000 points – Tom Jensen was leader.  Team 1 with Eileen Pearl as leader was runner up by virtue of answering one final question more quickly than Team 3 – led by Jessica Ward.  All participants received prizes and everyone had a great time.  It was fun to hear the answers – we all learned something about Colorado and Colorado history.
