Carolyn has led journeys for Grand Circle Travel's America's Majestic National Parks for the past five years.  She has also been a Tour Director for Exploritas/Elderhostel's tours, Mesa Verde Adventures and Four Corners Canyon Country Trips, and a Road Scholar Tour Guide for Treasures in The Four Corners.  She has led guided houseboat trips on Lake Powell for Grand Circle Field Institute.  In San Antonio, she has led Elderhostel's tour, The Heart of the City, the Heart of the Hill Country.  She has also led many cycling tours throughout the Texas Hill Country for Los Jubilados, and for Back Story Tours and Colorado Mountain Club in Colorado.

Carolyn's joie de vivre is evident in every tour she leads in the American West.  Her passions include Navajo & Hopi history, Rocky Mountain Wildflowers, rock art, cacti, geology, Red Rock Canyon Country, Kayaking, Southwestern cooking, and wolf/lynx reintroduction.
