Little Raven Street

There is designated Bus Parking on each side of Little Raven Street under the Speer Boulevard Bridge. There is adequate space for two coaches on each side of the street. From 15th Street turn toward Elitch Gardens on Little Raven Street and proceed less than one block to the designated parking under the bridge. From Speer Boulevard turn into Elitch Circle (like you are going to the amusement park), make right turns at each of two stop signs. After the turns you will be on Little Raven Street. Proceed until you are under the bridge where the designated parking is located.

Broadway between Colfax & 14th Avenue

The block (both sides) is available for staging for all coaches/buses on a first come- first served basis. City officials are resistant to referring to the use of this area as parking. However, it is obvious to the most casual observer that school buses occupy this space for extended lengths of time while passengers are visiting attractions, touring, shopping and dining downtown. Right of Way Enforcement (ROWE) has communicated to us through Robert Ferrin that "all buses" are welcome to use this area. This was in response to a question concerning whether commercial coaches may use this space in the same manner as school buses. In addition we note that the websites for the U. S. Mint, Molly Brown House, and History Colorado specifically identify this area as a parking location for coaches or buses transporting visitors to these venues.

RTD Civic Center Station Reconstruction

The RTD Civic Center Bus Station on the east side of Broadway at 16th Street is undergoing a complete reconstruction. Completion is scheduled mid-2017. During this time some RTD routes which normally originate at the Civic Center Station have their designated starting location on the west side of Broadway between Colfax and 14th Avenue. This significantly decreases the available parking for buses/coaches.

Please note: If the Staging Area on Little Raven or Broadway between Colfax and 14th Avenue does not meet your driver's needs, he/she may want to consider alternatives. Motor coach drivers have shared these suggestions with tour guides. No attempt has been made to obtain permission for parking. Whenever parking in space provided by retail businesses, it is expected that the driver or passengers will patronize the business. Parking is for customers. Drivers are expected to abide by all laws and regulations regarding parking. Rocky Mountain Guides Association shares this information in an attempt to facilitate a positive tour experience for all visitors. School Bus Parking: RPM Parking Companies extends the courtesy of free parking at the Pepsi Center for school buses providing transportation for student field trips. The offer is limited to the traditional yellow and black buses and does not include charter coaches engaged by schools. Bus drivers should enter the Pepsi Center at the traffic light on the Auraria Parkway at 9th Street (the main entrance to the Pepsi Center). Simply inform the attendant that it is a school field trip. Some drivers prefer to park at the far side of the lot because they have easy access to the Conoco convenience store for restrooms and a cup of coffee or snack.
