Growing up in Queens, New York City, Colorado was as good as a foreign country.  My travel experience was strictly East Coast.  That all changed when I came to Colorado on a "lark".  Two sorority sisters were going to teach in Denver and I decided to join them.  I ended up in the Littleton School District for 27 years.  After retiring, tour guiding seemed like a good volunteer activity.  I am presently a tour guide at the State Capitol.  I have been a guide at the Molly Brown House Museum.  I was a teacher for the Colorado Historical Society Museum now known as History Colorado Center.  Retirement affords me time to travel the world, hike and ski Colorado, and tend to my gardens and grandchildren.
